Sunday through Thursday Full Time

Sunday and Monday 12 : 00pm to 8 : 30pm

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10 : 00AM to 6 : 30PM

Position Summary :

Maintains the physical property and ensures that the resident areas are clean, safe, and comfortable in accordance with assignments and facility objectives.

Accountable for all services performed, for adhering to standards and for promoting teamwork.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Performs all duties daily as assigned or instructed including, but not limited to, cleaning windows, vinyl's light fixtures and blinds, disposing of trash and transporting soiled and clean laundry.
• As assigned, set up and tear down tables and chairs for special events and / or activities.
• Performs resident moves / cleaning procedures, as instructed, when a resident is discharged, and / or transferred to another room.
• Collects soiled linens, from housekeeping carts and closets, delivers linens to laundry room.
• Delivers clean linens to closets.
• Delivers trash to the trash compactor and safely operates compactor.
• Cleans all spills and maintains restroom cleanliness.
• All other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities :

• As a legal and moral responsibility, immediately reports all witnessed or suspected resident abuse, neglect, exploitation, or misappropriation of funds to the department director.
• Assists in ensuring the safety of staff, residents, and visitors by identifying potential safety hazards to immediate supervisor and following all emergency plans (i.

e. evacuation, hurricane, etc.)

• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Supports Mease Life's mission, vision, and all customer service standards.
• Honors Resident Bill of Rights.

Education and Experience :

One year experience in a similar setting preferred.
