What You’ll Work On
- The primary function of the Manufacturing Engineer is to manage and lead preventative and predictive maintenance programs in such a manner as to promote a safe, efficient operation in which quality product is manufactured.
- Manage capital projects from conception to completion, using the request for capital expenditure (RCE) process. The position also directly impacts product quality in the production operations.
- Review Production Metrics, evaluate root cause and suggest appropriate actions to reduce downtimes on production lines.
- Provide a centralized, strategic look across equipment performance (downtime), material / component failure analysis, and changeovers.
- Facilitate root cause analysis for equipment downtime.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or any associated field-related discipline is desired, or equivalent technical experience plus demonstrated competence, with a desired 3-5 years of significant engineering and / or operational experience.
- Additional post-graduate education may contribute towards the desired years of experience.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal required.
- Strong technical and leadership skills required
