Pay Information

$360 to $370 per hour

About The Position

A Medical Center in Iowa is seeking a  Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon for full-time locum coverage. This role offers a balanced mix of clinic, surgical procedures, trauma / orthopedic call, and follow-up care. You’ll work alongside an experienced team of 4 physicians and 7 APPs in a Level 3 Trauma Center serving 16 surrounding counties.

What You’ll Do :

Perform total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements

Treat trauma injuries, fractures, sports injuries, and general orthopedic cases

Provide inpatient rounding, ED / inpatient consults, and OR coverage

Supervise APPs and collaborate with a skilled support team

Call coverage includes follow-up clinic for your patients

Job Requirements

Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery (no BE)

Clean malpractice history

Active IA license or IMLC eligible (upload LOQ)

Available at least 2 weeks / month
