Your Impact :
Key responsibilities for the HR Business Partner, Lead role include :
Advising employees and people managers on topics such as workforce shaping, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, development plans, reorganizations, and employee engagement surveys
Coaching managers in effective and proactive people management initiatives such as leadership skills, training and development, organizational design, and performance concerns
Understanding and mitigating corporate risk associated with relevant employment laws / policies; Advising on sophisticated leave topics (ADA, FMLA, etc.
when advanced beyond standard processes
Collaborating and partnering with our Centers of Excellence (e.g., talent advisors, workforce analytics, DEI, benefits, compensation, learning & development, employee relations, etc.
to effectively deliver and complete the talent strategy, HR processes, and reporting for the business
Supporting the broader HR Business Partner community (i.e., focus groups, team builds, engagement initiatives, special projects, etc.)
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
8 - 10 years of client facing experience or consulting experience or a combination
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting
Change management skills & experiences are key
Proven experience in data analysis (Excel and PowerPoint)
Professional Human Resources Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources Certification or coaching certification is a plus
Keys to Success in this Role :
Employs extensive expertise as an HR business partner to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, while advising top management on their talent strategy.
Seamlessly completing HR processes including performance management, talent management and engagement surveys across multiple divisions and leaders
Using skills and experiences to build upon current processes to recommend and suggest process improvements and standardization, where appropriate.
Partnering with clients to form effective relationships and understand business goals to effectively complete HR solutions that are aligned to the business needs
Ability to effectively challenge, influence and develop positive relationships inside and outside of HR
Intellectual curiosity and interpersonal flexibility
Very solid attention to detail
Ability to lead a process and follow through on tasks with significant organizational, project and program management skills
Strong leadership skills, phenomenal teammate, and thorough understanding of the Freddie Mac organizational structure
Self-starter and proactive with the ability to think creatively and implement in a manner that respects and meets appropriate internal controls
Excellent communication and consultation skills, including comfort interacting with internal management and key internal partners
Comfortable using workforce analytics and reporting to inform and influence business decisions
