Job Purpose
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful planning, organization, and execution of marketing projects and campaigns, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring clear communication and alignment on objectives.
This role ensures timely project delivery, quality control, and adherence to brand and legal standards, while providing support and guidance to colleagues to optimize team performance and project outcomes.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors inbox for incoming requests and delegates non-project related requests as needed.
- Utilize web-based project management and collaboration tools to plan, organize, track progress, and facilitate communication across teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Schedule and lead meetings, calls, and consultations with stakeholders to gather information, establish clear project goals, and ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
- Provide ongoing support, clarity, and guidance to colleagues as needed to address questions as it relates to in-progress initiatives or pre-established content and resources.
- Serve as a point-of-contact for projects involving multiple internal teams and external partners to ensure everyone remains aligned and moving in a cohesive direction.
- Performs quality control throughout project development, adhering to company brand standards, policies, compliance and legal standards, etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient at gathering all necessary information for full execution of marketing projects (as it relates to project-specific needs, including gathering product information, identifying audience(s), deadlines, budgets, and needed stakeholder approvals).
- Experienced in creating and coordinating detailed long- and short-term plans with clearly outlined objectives, including scheduling milestones and project due dates.
- Understands and tactfully communicates with stake holders reasonable project turn-times with consideration to industry standard production times, priority, and workload.
- Recognizes individual colleague abilities, current and projected task volumes / capacity, and delegates assignments according to employees best positioned to complete tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring optimal team performance and project success.
- Decisive when presented with multiple paths for moving projects forward, ensuring timely progress and maintaining momentum to achieve project goals.
- Possesses a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Office.
- Preference for candidates familiar with SmartSheets, Asana, and mortgage lending and / or marketing.
