What's a typical day as a Facilities Maintenance Technician? You'll be :

• Cleaning facilities and grounds around the facilities
• Patching and painting common areas and private offices
• Building, repairing, and / or relocating furniture
• Utilizing basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
• Being a self-starter and taking initiative
• Lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs, with occasional heavier lifting
• Climbing ladders and working off elevated aerial platforms
• Walking and standing during your entire shift
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, manuals, specifications, and documentation
• Working with a team as well as independently
• Performing other duties as assigned
• Working in an office and industrial manufacturing environment with possible exposure to temperature extremes and overhead objects

• Have 2-3 years of experience in facilities maintenance
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent education and experience
• Have previous facility maintenance experience
• Have experience in manufacturing environments
