Position Summary
The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo (UB), State University of New York, the Department of Medicine, Division of Pediatrics-, is seeking qualified Pediatrics Hospitalists with exceptional clinical and academic skills.
Qualified candidates will be appointed at the Clinical Assistant / Associate Professor level.
Overall duties include but not limited to :
- Hospitalists admit and round on all patients assigned to the IM or Pediatric Hospitalist Service
- An option to serve as attending physician for ambulatory care with / or without inpatient services
- Consultation and patient follow-up
- The successful candidate will be expected to take advantage of the many opportunities for teaching medical students and supervising and training internal medicine residents, based on experience
- During an average shift, Physicians will round 14-16 patients

Minimum Qualifications
- MD, DO, or Equivalent degree
- BC / BE Internal Medicine
- BC / BE Pediatrics
- Eligible for NYS License
