Position Summary :
The Director of Business Development is responsible for developing, implementing and refining strategies to grow hospital business including strategic planning, public relations, marketing / communications, and physician recruitment.
Position will dialogue with physicians and providers as well as community leaders and organizations to promote the Hospital.
Will participate in programs benefiting Hospital operations, assuring programs and activities reinforce Madera Community Hospital’s reputation of quality care and excellent patient service.
This position requires flexible work schedule, collaborative problem-solving analysis, and maintaining working relationships with media, agencies, public, organizational staff and physicians, businesses, prospects and donors.
Assures marketing strategies and plans, support Madera Community Hospital and health system service line growth and retention initiatives;
meets communication guidelines and deadlines and promotes Hospital image and positive health outcomes for patients and community at large.
Qualifications :
Requires bachelor’s degree with focus on marketing, communications, public relations, or business management. Prefer 3-5 years of experience in marketing communications within an agency or regional organizations encompassing multiple communication disciplines, including media relations.
Prefer experience in Hospital or Healthcare activities or programs
