The Walmart eCommerce team is rapidly innovating to evolve and define the future state of shopping. As the world's largest retailer, we are on a mission to help people save money and live better.

We are looking for a creative, passionate, Senior Data Scientist to join the Inkiru Data Science team at Walmart. You will have the unique opportunity to work with massive business and social data generated by Walmart’s unparalleled online and offline commerce.

  • Perform hands-on data exploration, processing, and analysis on massive data sets.
  • Use machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning techniques to develop robust solution for overall Spark Driver Fraud and Abuse use cases.
  • Communicate the results to stakeholders and present the projects in internal or external conferences.
  • Research and develop advanced algorithms and techniques that address complex business problems.
  • Utilize the broad and deep knowledge of Machine Learning and Software Engineering to contribute to the team's core machine learning capabilities.

What you'll bring :

  • Solid background in machine learning, deep learning, statistical analysis, and software development.
  • Proficient in data mining, machine learning, and deep learning packages in Python / Pytorch
  • Experience working with large data sets and cloud computing.
  • Proficient in coding SQL, Python, Java, or JavaScript
  • 4 6 years of related experience

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3

years' experience in an analytics related field. Option 2- Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science,

Information Technology, or related field and 1 years' experience in an analytics related field. Option 3 - 5 years' experience in an analytics or

related field.

Preferred Qualifications...

Data science, machine learning, optimization models, Master’s degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Successful completion of one or more assessments in Python, Spark, Scala, or R, Using open source frameworks (for example, scikit learn, tensorflow, torch), We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.

2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
