Job Purpose :

The Sr. Web Merchandise Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a merchandising strategy to drive sales, grow the brand online, and create an engaging online shopping experience for Forever 21 customers.

Deliverables :

• Audit web and sales metrics for merchandising opportunities, sell throughs, sold out products, top performers, etc.; communicate results to the Web Merchandise team
• Lead the Web Merchandise team and oversee all web merchandise and direction for E-Commerce through seasonal trend and product assortment planning
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and Lead Stylist on campaign directives
• Create and continuously improve the E-Commerce platform to improve customer shopping experiences
• Supervise the process of creating, developing, and presenting content for photo shoots and the website
• Lead seasonal assortment strategies based on historical data, trend analysis, and consumer research
• Plan and manage yearly campaign calendar while coordinating and executing all web collection launches
• Build and create alignment across all functional partners (Marketing, Design, Planning, and Buying)
• Build and supervise team of Web Merchandisers and oversee merchandising of campaigns and promotions; mentor and coach junior members of the Web Merchandise team
• Accountable for inventory management which includes being responsible for KPIs (sell through, gross margin, sales, inventory, etc.

Job Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications :

Must have a Bachelors Degree and / or fashion background, with at least 8 years of Merchandising or Styling experience;

must have 3-5 years of experience in E-Commerce Merchandising

• Prior management experience required
• A fashion background and strong knowledge of textiles a plus
• Must have a creative eye for styling and flair for upcoming trends
• Highly organized and detail-oriented team player able to work quickly and efficiently, while balancing many projects, in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences from all levels of the organization
• Willing and able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs., perform frequent repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
