Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Specialist to join our Illinois office. This role is ideal for a bachelors-level professional who is passionate about supporting individuals and families facing life challenges. As part of our team, you will provide case management, skills training, and resource coordination while working under the supervision of licensed clinicians. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake interviews to gather client history and identify service needs (non-diagnostic).
  • Provide supportive services such as psychoeducation, skills coaching, and guidance.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring individualized service plans in collaboration with licensed clinicians.
  • Connect clients to community resources including housing, healthcare, and social services.
  • Facilitate skills-based or psychoeducational groups under supervision.
  • Support clients in developing coping strategies, daily living skills, and resource navigation.
  • Assist licensed staff with crisis response by offering immediate support and linking clients to appropriate services.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation.
  • Participate in outreach and educational efforts to promote access to services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (required).
  • 12 years of experience in a mental health or social service setting (preferred).
  • Knowledge of community resources and social services in Illinois.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Commitment to working effectively with diverse populations.
