Training Specialist

The Opportunity :

As a professional in shared delivery, you have the experience and skills to ensure our Delivery Hub operations are effective, efficient, timely, and valuable for internal and external clients.

You know how to interface with internal and external customers and leadership to understand needs and gain insight on shared delivery performance.

As part of the Training Administration team, you will oversee the management and administration of learning courses available to all employees, including internal classes provided by Booz Allen and external classes hosted through 3rd party vendors.

Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

How You’ll Contribute :

Handle all escalated questions from Customer Care related to class offerings

Manage Workday learning module, including schedule course offerings for all internal classes

Perform administrative and transactional activities in support of training activities

Conduct and facilitate training

Manage vendor and contractors hosted training, including Learning Tree, such as invoice review and approval

Coordinate with adjuncts and vendors to assign facilitators to courses

Intake and relay new class offering requests to Talent Development, Center of Excellence (COE)

Run reports, manage KPIs and dashboards to assess performance of existing course offerings, and provide updates to Talent Development COE

Manage automated Workday notifications to all employees who enroll in a course

Manage administrative aspects of employee evaluations with facilitators, primarily adjuncts, post-class

Maintain class withdrawal list and coordinate class waitlist

Triage requested training needs from career managers, including private learning sessions for teams

Oversee individual and mass course enrollment and coordinate with facilitators and vendors for late additions

Manage class reminders sent for all mandatory classes for employees

Manage certification requests as a result of training

You Have :

2+ years of experience with training administration, including facilitation of training

Experience with Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to work independently and multi-task through to completion

Ability to build strong relationships with COE partners and the business sectors to improve delivery

HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have :

Experience working in a Help Desk or Contact Center environment with training administration

Experience with Workday or comparable tools

Experience with applying detailed focus on data and process to ensure data integrity

Ability to use multiple applications and databases in a fast-paced environment

Ability to communicate clearly via email or phone with an emphasis on active listening

Possession of strong research and problem-solving skills

Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
