About The Position
Job Title : Radiology - Diagnostic Imaging Technologist Job Specialty : Imaging - Diagnostic Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 8-hour Night Shift Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 1 year of CT experience License : Active IEMA (IL) Certifications : ARRT (CT), BLS (AHA) Must-Have : Graduate of an accredited CT program- Competent in all routine CT procedures Job Description : Facility is CT accredited with 333 beds and a Level 1 trauma center.
- Designated as a Magnet hospital and a Primary Stroke Center.- 1 : 1 patient ratios, serving inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients.
- Candidate will receive 1-2 days of orientation on the unit, depending on comfort level.- Required to wear Caribbean Blue scrubs.
- Candidate must sign in and out of the agency binder in the Nursing office for each shift.- Perform routine CT procedures including chest, abdomen / pelvis, PE, brain, and head.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with ancillary support and another CT Technologist.- Conduct portable exams in the emergency department and other inpatient units.
- Handle volumes of approximately 10-12 exams during an 8-hour shift with some staffing overlap for assistance.
