Job Description Summary :

The Reauthorization Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Reauthorization team under the guidance of the Reauthorization Manager. This role includes managing team performance, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of reauthorizations, and upholding high standards of quality and productivity. The Supervisor will monitor workflows, offer guidance and support to team members, and address any operational challenges that arise. Additionally, the Reauthorization Supervisor will ensure all tasks are executed in full compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations. This position also emphasizes fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment, working to optimize team efficiency, enhance effectiveness, and maintain a high level of operational success.

Job Description : Job Responsibilities

Oversees daily productivity and performance, providing coaching to team members and addressing any necessary corrections.

Conducts interviews, hires, and trains employees, while managing their work assignments, appraising performance, rewarding achievements, and addressing disciplinary matters or complaints.

Serves as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues with the CMC and Patient Registration team.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, reimbursement issues, and payer requirements, ensuring the Reauthorization team is informed of key developments.

Supports the implementation of new policies and procedures, assisting with their roll-out and ensuring smooth adoption within the team.

Supervisory Responsibilities

(i.e. hiring, recommending / approving promotions and pay increases, scheduling, performance reviews, discipline, etc.)

Basic Education and / or Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

At least 1 year of medical insurance authorization supervisory experience, OR 3-5 years of medical insurance authorization experience with demonstrated progression.

Minimum of one (1) year customer service preferred.

Home infusion experience on the provider or payer side preferred.

Basic Qualifications

Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals / priorities at one time.

Ability to work in a fast past environment.

High degree of self-discipline in maintaining productivity expectations.

Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of quality focus.

May perform other duties as assigned

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below :

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $68,057.94-$113,452.41
