Genies is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our Developer Platform Team. In this role, the TPM will oversee the various stages of product development from planning, to implementation and deployment.

This is a high-visibility role with a broad area of ownership, requiring strong leadership and collaboration skills combined with product sense and technical expertise.

The role reports to the , and can be seated in either our SF Bay Area office (San Mateo) or Los Angeles based HQ.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Lead and manage complex technical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
  • Serve as a technical liaison, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and ensuring alignment across teams
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and other cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and timelines
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and resolving issues as they arise
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders
  • Ensure that all projects adhere to established standards and best practices, and meet performance and quality benchmarks
  • Continuously improve project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

What You Should Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Masters degree in Computer Science or related field is a bonus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical program management, preferably within a consumer tech, gaming, platform or developer tools environment
  • Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of software development, platform engineering, and developer tools
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results

The actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including : professional background, training, transferable skills, work experience, education, location, business and product needs, and market demand.

The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time employees may also be eligible for equity compensation, in addition to a robust health, wellness, and benefits package.

Starting Salary Range : $190,000 to $230,000
