We are in search of a competent LoanOfficer to be a part of our Loans Department. Your primary rolewill be to evaluate authorize the approval or deny the loanapplication for businesses or entrepreneurs.
Asa Loan Officer you will be acting as a liaison between ourfinancial institution and our clients. You will help qualifiedapplicants obtain loans in a timely and hasslefree manner.
Youshould possess amazing communication skills to explain the loanapplication process to the desired applicants in a simple way.
Youshould be prompt at answering questions and solving their queries.
You should be reliable when it comes toevaluating the credit values and interviewing the loan applicants.If you think you have the required knowledge and desired experienceyou can send in your applications to us.

Responsibilities
- Researchand evaluate the financial status of the person applying for aloan.
- Evaluate the credit value by processingthe loan applications and documents within particularlimits.
- Interview the loan applicants todetermine their financial eligibility and prepare the feasibilityreport for granting loans.
- Determine allapplicable metrics and ratios and set up debt paymentplans.
- Communicate with the clients to provideinformation and to forward their loanrequests.
- Approve loans for eligible applicantsand reject the ones who are not eligible. Justify theapprovals / rejection decisions by filing reports about thesame.
- Complete loan agreements and counselclients on limitations and policies.
- Have anexcellent understanding of the different types of loans and otherfinancial services.
- Maintain and update loanfiles and accountsrecords.
Requirements
- Bachelorsdegree in Economics Finance or a relatedfield.
- Proven work experience as a Loan Officeror in Finance Industry.
- Excellent knowledge ofcomputers and bankingprograms / applications.
- Outstandinginterpersonal and communicationskills.
- Excellent Sales and Marketing skillswill be an added advantage.
- Sound understandingof direct and indirect lending practices andproducts.
- Excellent knowledge of the currentaffairs of the real estateindustry.
- Outstanding customer serviceskills.
- Exceptional time managementskills.
