Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian for PIH Health Hospital-Downey (PHDH), a community-based hospital with a 199 inpatient licensed bed situated outside the Los Angeles area.

PHDH is part of PIH Health, a regional nonprofit healthcare delivery network.

In this role, the selected candidate will provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units for this facility and work a regular schedule Tuesday through Saturday.

The successful candidate will :

• Hold a Registered Dietitian credential;
• provide nutritional care for patients with a variety of disease states on the inpatient units;
• perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;
• educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement :

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1 / 1 / 24 :

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement :

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD / RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.

In some states and / or facilities the RD / RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification / licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and / or facilities state certification / licensure is required at the time of hire
