Academic PM&R opening in Jefferson City, MO 30 miles to Columbia & 2 Hours to St. Louis Full-time, permanent opening Hospital-employed position Seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual for the position of Assistant / Associate / Full Professor of PM&R (Non-Tenure Track) Focus on Inpatient Rehabilitation Services Competitive compensation and benefits Medical, dental, & vision Retirement Educational fee discounts Responsibilities : As a key member of our faculty, the successful candidate will play a vital role in providing comprehensive patient care across various settings Perform acute care consults, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess and address urgent medical needs Administer inpatient rehabilitation care within the 14-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, focusing on optimizing patient recovery and functionality Provide outpatient services, addressing follow-up needs for patients who have undergone acute care and inpatient rehabilitation Conduct outpatient Musculoskeletal (MSK) care utilizing advanced techniques, including ultrasound, to diagnose and treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions Administer outpatient Electromyography (EMG) services, employing specialized diagnostic procedures to assess nerve and muscle function This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the continuum of care, ensuring the well-being of our patients across acute, inpatient, and outpatient settings Medical Center : Medical Center is a full-service health care system that encompasses a full-service acute care hospital, the area's most expansive clinic system, a state of the art Cancer Program, a hospital based fitness facility, home health agency and the only hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation center in the community. The hospital has 100 acute care beds and 14 rehabilitation beds. Referrals come from 160+ employed providers who staff a system of 32 clinics in an 8-county service area of 225K people.
