Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about science and eager to start their career in a laboratory setting.
As an Entry-Level Lab Technician, you will perform essential laboratory tasks to support scientific experiments, ensure the smooth operation of the lab, and assist senior technicians and scientists.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform routine laboratory tests and experiments under supervision.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and equipment for experiments.
- Assist in collecting, recording, and analyzing data from experiments.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records and logs.
- Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment, workspaces, and glassware.
- Follow strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in inventory management of lab supplies and materials.
- Support other lab staff in day-to-day operations as needed.
Qualifications :
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety standards and protocols.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) or similar software.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Internship or academic lab experience is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and other regulatory requirements is advantageous.
