Responsibilities :

• You will serve as the Tier II Local Lead in the Program Management (PM) Competency, specifically as the lead of the Acquisition, Processes and Tools Division supervising up to 70 employees.
• You will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Division, including miscellaneous data calls and other routing administrative requirements.
• You will lead Division Reviews and hold periodic Career Review Boards to assist supervisors in managing career progression for employees.
• You will work with stakeholder Point of Contacts (POCs) and collect customer provided semi-annual supervisory input for performance evaluations.
• You will provide expert communication between Acquisition Program Offices and other stakeholders to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• You will work closely with the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific 6.0 Local Competency Lead to maintain and improve the Embedded Workforce Portal.
• You will provide feedback to leadership on plans, progress, risks, and issues.
• You will coordinate across competency, portfolio, and business unit boundaries to achieve satisfactory results.
• You will manage financial resources and workforce based on organizational goals and budget limitations.

Qualifications :

NM-05 : Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : supervising personnel executing life cycle program management of major platforms;

and identifying and analyzing problems to evaluate alternative perspectives and solutions.

NM-04 : Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : supervising personnel executing life cycle program management of major platforms with guidance;

and assisting with identifying and analyzing problems to evaluate alternative perspectives and solutions.

This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

Additional Information :

This position is eligible for part-time, substantial, or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. The pay schedule for all Supervisor Positions will be NM-2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6.

This position is in the Science & Technology Reinvention Laboratory (STRL) Human Resource Management System pay band for Department of Defense laboratories.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
