Registered Nurse - PCU
Location : Huntersville, NC
Duration : 13+ weeks

Required skills / certs / exp :
Minimum Experience Required : 2 years
Required Skill : Will need to have experience with intermediate level cardiac patients, post cardiac intervention, titration of cardiac gtts.
Required Certifications : ACLS, BCLS, NIH
Job details :
Target Ratios : 1 : 4-5 (could fluctuate based on unit needs / surges); Avg. Daily Census : 16
Patient Age Group : Adults, Geriatrics
Patient Diagnoses : STEMI, CHF, Client, cardiac dysrhythmias, post-hip / knee replacements.
Special Procedures / Unit Details :
Primarily higher-level cardiac patients.
Post catheterizations, cardiac interventions.
Cardiac gtts including but not limited to Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Amiodarone, Lasix, including some titration of medications.
Initiation of Betapace and Tikosyn.
May also have orthopedic patients post-operatively or med-surg overflow at times. Telemetry.
