Joina dynamic team in supporting students with diverse learning needs.In this role you will be responsible for developing andimplementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) deliveringtargeted instruction and fostering an inclusive learningenvironment.
You will work with middle school students in bothresource and selfcontained classroom settings providingindividualized and smallgroup instruction across various contentareas.
Asa key member of the educational team you will collaborate withgeneral education teachers administrators and families to ensurestudents with disabilities receive the support they need to succeedacademically and socially.
You will also regularly assess studentprogress modify instructional approaches and participate in IEPmeetings to adapt goals asneeded.

- Craft andfacilitate practice IEPs tailored to meet each student s specificlearning goals.
- Work with classroomteachers to support students inclusion in general educationclasses.

- Engage in IEP meetingsand contribute to datadriven decisions regarding student goals andservices.
- Continuously assessstudent progress modifying instructional strategies to ensureongoing growth and success.
- Providedifferentiated instruction in individual and smallgroup settings toaddress students unique needs in core subjectareas.
Requirements
IllinoisLBS1 K12 Certification
Bachelors Degree in SpecialEducation or relateddegree
Provenexperience as a Special Education Teacher or relevantrole
Experienceworking with children with a wide range of varyingabilities
