Job Summary

As an Associate Controller for a premier corporate client at 11 Madison Ave, you will support the financial success of the account including reporting, analysis, data entry, POS system management, payroll, and maintaining strong client and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain transaction accountability and daily banking activities.
• Track and manage P / L and balance sheet activities.
• Review general ledger and reconcile balance sheets.
• Resolve accounting and reconciliation issues.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual report preparation, including fiscal close and audit reporting.
• Prepare daily deposit, credit card, and cash reports.
• Implement and oversee inventory and cost control procedures.
• Manage Payroll
• Execute related duties and special projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum two years of revenue control and cash handling experience.
• Accounting experience in foodservice or retail industries required; foodservice operations experience a plus.
• Ability to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and analyses.
• Proficient in planning, organizing, and controlling complex processes, and analyzing moderately complex financial information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational abilities.
• Commitment to personal integrity and ethical conduct.
