X4 Lifesciences are working with a Long Island based Medical Device contract manufacturing organization who are looking to add to their current headcount with the addition of a Quality Engineer with a strong hands on Manufacturing background.
The organization work with a range of Medical OEM's, however have recently partnered with a number of Diagnostic & IVD clients.
An overview of the role is below :
- Support Quality Assurance in ensuring ISO13485 compliance the audits & inspection of documentation.
- Design, Fabricate and implement quality tooling for functional testing
- Identify key areas for process improvement and work cross functionally to implement relevant strategy
- Support customers through quality improvements using a range of QA tools such as CAPA
The ideal candidate will come from the following background :
- Strong understanding of Quality tools such as; GD&T, FMEA, Solidworks
- Confident in using CMM technology
- 5+ Years experience working in a Quality role in Manufacturing field
- 5+ Years Experince in either a 13485 environment or with Injection Molding
