About The Position
Job Title : Echocardiographer Job Specialty : Echo Technologist Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 8-Hour Days, AM Shift Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours per Week Experience : Minimum years of experience not specified License : Registered Echo Tech Certifications : BLS Must-Have : - Adult echocardiography skills- Pediatric echocardiography experience is a plus- Experience using GE and Philips ultrasound machines Job Description : Perform echocardiography procedures in both the cardiovascular center and hospital settings.
- Work collaboratively with a team, including rotating on-call responsibilities with evening and weekend shifts.- Conduct approximately 8 exams per day.
- Shift times for 8-hour days include starting in the clinic at 8 : 15 AM and working until 5 : 00 5 : 15 PM, with hospital start times around 7 : 00 7 : 30 AM.
- Assist with managing case and order volume by floating between hospital and cardiovascular center as needed.- Ensure excellent patient care and maintain high imaging standards.
- Handle on-call responsibilities one or two nights a week and every third or fourth weekend.
