Join Samaritan Healthcare's Diagnostic Imaging Team! As an Ultrasound Technician, you are responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a safe and prudent manner for the specific purpose of producing a high-quality diagnostic exam.

Procedures will include general abdominal, OB / GYN, and small parts ultrasound exams, venous, and carotid Doppler. A great candidate has demonstrated experience in the ability to follow appropriate guidelines for exams, patient needs, exercise confidentiality, quality control, and improvement, archiving and exceptional patient service skills.

This is a full-time opportunity working 3 / 12's Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7 : 00am - 7 : 30pm.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Associate in Applied Science - Allied Health Science.
  • Registered - ARDMS in abdomen and / or OB / GYN or equivalent.
  • One (1) year clinical experience required in abdomen and OB / GYN exams. Prefer Vascular Registry, in addition.
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.
  • Feels comfortable working independently.
