Position : Senior Tax Accountant (Global Law Firm)
Location : New York, NY (hybrid WFH)
Company : AM 100 Law Firm
Comp Package : Base salary to $110K Bonus, Full Benefits, Tuition Reimbursement, 401K+, etc.
Responsibilities for Senior Tax Accountant :
- Preparation of supporting accounting documents for the various partnership international tax filings
- Participate in the development of Accounting Procedure documents
- Record Fixed Assets in specialized asset software and reconcile to the General Ledger for use in US tax return
- Participate in the maintenance of Partner related compliance documents
- Track non-resident tax returns from originating data to ultimate conclusion
- Assist in preparation of Sales and Use tax returns for multiple jurisdictions
- Assist in vendor set up procedures and the preparation of 1099 forms to vendors
- Team member working on the preparation of Partner K-1’s
Requirements for Senior Tax Accountant :
- 3+ years tax accountant experience in a law firm or professional services firm
- College Graduate with a 4-year undergraduate degree (or 5-year Accounting Master’s degree)
- Major in Accounting required
- Proficient in Excel
