Randstad is seeking a talented Computer Vision Engineer to turn complex bio-medical imaging into useful insights. As the selected candidate, you will work with a global leader in agricultural research.
The position requires the selected candidate to work on-site in St. Louis, Missouri. Relocation cost reimbursement is not available for this position.
What you will do :
- Serve as an independent subject matter expert for machine learning and computer vison.
- Develop unique and innovative computer vision methods and applications.
- Work in cross-disciplinary teams to implement AI products that will improve efficiency and decision making and enable cost reductions.
- Discover insights and identify opportunities through the use of AI and machine learning techniques.
- Develop standardized data modeling workflows to shorten development cycles.
- Compare various modeling approaches and assess tradeoffs for accuracy, computation speed, and supportability in-field.
- Work with Software Engineers to translate custom modeling tools to executable routines for automation integration.
- Deliver analytical reports and present results to stakeholders and technical team members and maintain IP-related documentation of results.
What you need :
- Master’s degree (preferentially Ph.D.) in Computer Science / machine learning, Applied
- Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in : machine learning techniques, computer vision, convolutional neural networks, clustering, generative adversarial networks, feature selection, classification, regression, etc.
- 3-4 years experience with image processing.
- 3-4 years experience (or demonstrated proficiency) using procedural languages including Python and MATLAB.
- Experience with image processing and experience with data fusion from multiple imaging systems. such as hyperspectral, X-ray, multi-spectral, lidar, thermal, and CT.
- Experience using AWS and other cloud computing environments.
