The Account Executive for Global Sales will be responsible for working with the Global Sales Director and Global Referral Program Manager to expand relationships of our international customers, international groups, and organizations in enhancing the execution of sales, sales processes, onboarding, retention and customer experience for the achievement of revenue generation and long-term goals in line with IMG Academy’s vision and values.
The role will also help facilitate interceding on the customers behalf in daily encounters while attending IMG Academy, while focusing on cross collaboration and coordination efforts across multiple Academy departments.
The individual will work closely with Academics, Sports, APD, Student Life, Customer Support and Sales.
Position Responsibilities
- Facilitate internal communication between Global Sales, Academics, Sports, APD, Student Life, and Customer Support to facilitate customers’ needs by streamlining processes and working collectively to reach sales goals
- Responsible for lifecycle of the enrollment process for the Boarding School and Camp Programs and serving as the point of contact for the customer for duration of process
- Expertise in sales software (CRM); ability to use software to its maximum capability including but not limited to producing reports, data entry, data integrity and data qualification
- Determining customer needs and expectations while making expert recommendations to maximize the customer’s experience while on campus
- Educating customers about terminology, features and benefits of Academic & Sport programs
- Maintaining close relationship with related departments on campus to ensure proper client transition from sale to participation
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of IMG Academy’s campus, including the IMGA School, to maximize effectiveness of tours for prospective groups and families
- Assist in the operational delivery of hosting international customers on campus, while maintaining consistent meetings with departments
- Working with the existing international student base focusing on their quality-of-life and interceding on their behalf as needed in their daily encounters while attending the Academy to ensure they have positive experience and are able to promote the experience back home when they return
- Support international customers and their family through check-in process, campus tours, cultural adjustments, language barriers and assist in daily needs when necessary
- Serve as liaison between international customers and their parents with coaches and experts, and educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of Boarding School and Camp programs.
- Responsible for collecting customers’ feedback and share with Director of Global Sales on a weekly basis as part of shaping the overall program for marketability in the international market
- Responsible for the communication of financial status and expectations to the customer, from booking date through reservation
- Under direction from the Director of Global Sales, negotiate contract specifics to achieve maximum profitability while attaining customer needs
- Work closely with the Global Sales Director to create effective strategies for increasing enrollment and retention efforts
- Demonstrate technical selling skills, communication and product knowledge of IMG Academy
- Managing time effectively, meeting personal and company goals and working effectively with other members of the advisor team
- Assist in the operational delivery of hosting international customers on campus
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field
- Experience with MS Office
- 3 years of Sales, Enrollment, Admissions, or College Recruiting experience
- Track record of sales revenue
- Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of High School and College landscape related to the sport
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong decision making, negotiation and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi task in a fast-paced organization
- Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues

Preferred Skills
- Masters in an applicable field
- Experience in dealing with international clientele
- Bilingual
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40 pounds
- Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
- Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
