Position Overview : Mosby Middle School is seeking a passionate Middle School Science Teacher to join our team. This full-time role involves teaching science to middle school students and fostering a love for scientific inquiry.
Responsibilities :
- Teach middle school science classes, following curriculum guidelines and standards.
- Create engaging lesson plans that encourage hands-on learning and critical thinking.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore and learn.
- Assess student understanding through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support student success and well-being.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- Valid teaching license / certification for middle school science.
- Passion for science education and inspiring young learners.
- Strong munication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
