The Operating Room RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
Responsible for helping our surgical patients through their inpatient stay, providing basic care needs, under the direction of a RN.
Required Skills :
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum of two (2) previous OR experience preferred.
- Current Arizona Nursing License.
- Current CPR, ACLS certified.
- Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
- Ability to care for patients from adult to geriatrics.
- Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse.
- Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the young adult, adult and geriatric patient.
Schedule Options :
8 hours, 10 hours or 12 hours
