KDB+ Developer
Hybrid Role, must be able to work onsite in Boston MA, Jersey City NJ, Durham NC, or Westlake TX.

As a KDB+ Developer, you will work within the Regulatory Reporting Technology team to build mission-critical brokerage applications for the enterprise.
You will collaborate with the regulatory reporting business team and other brokerage technology teams to develop applications for reporting across multiple asset classes with very high levels of regulatory scrutiny.
This role is focused on hands-on development and delivery, requiring a combination of strong technical skills and participation in architecture, design, and analysis activities.
Key Technical Skills :
- q / KDB+ programming
- Python
- Scripting (Shell / Perl)
- Unix or Linux
- SQL / Relational Databases (e.g., Oracle)
- Application deployment automation and pipelines
- Agile methodologies (Kanban and Scrum)
- CI / CD pipeline tools (Git / Bitbucket Server, Jenkins, uDeploy)
- Artifactory and API registries (e.g., Apigee)
- Cloud computing (AWS S3, EC2, CloudFormation, Lambdas / Python) a plus
- Java, Spring Boot, Kafka a plus
- User interface frameworks / platforms (Angular, React) a plus
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain brokerage applications for regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Participate in architecture, design, and analysis activities.
- Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Ensure applications meet regulatory requirements and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies to improve application performance and reliability.

Required Certifications / Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)

other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
