About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - OncologyJob Specialty : RN - OncologyJob Duration : 26 weeksShift : Rotating shifts; 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM / 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM;
Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday; 36 hours per week or 48 hours per weekGuaranteed Hours : To be discussed during the interviewExperience : Minimum 2 yearsLicense : Valid RN LicenseCertifications : BLSMust-Have : - Experience in Oncology, Step Down, Surgical, and Telemetry- Flexibility to work rotating shifts- Strong patient care and communication skillsJob Description : - Provide professional nursing care for patients in the Surgical Oncology and MICU stepdown units.
- Monitor, assess, and report patients' conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist surgical and stepdown oncology patients with recovery and rehabilitation processes.- Educate patients and families about ongoing healthcare needs, treatments, and discharge information.
- Adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
