Assistant Deputy Director - Landside Services
THIS POSITION IS AT-WILL
Annual Compensation Range ($USD) : 87,000.00 - 116,200.00 paid on a bi-weekly basis.
A Brief Overview
The Assistant Deputy Director - Landside Services monitors the day-to-day operation of the Department as it relates to contract administration and compliance, quality improvement, customer service and traffic flow / curbside assistance practices.
This position assists with operations and implementation of operations while maintaining an outstanding customer service environment.
What you will do
- Ensure the efficiency of daily operations of the department by providing decision-making and problem resolution skills for employees, customers, and service providers.
- Oversee the daily activities of the 24 hour-7-day operations of the Parking Services, Shuttle Services, Ground Transportation operation, revenue (concessions) agreements and Technology Network Company.
- Assist in providing oversight of parking contract compliance / operations, ground transportation operations, taxi / sedan concessions and Technology Network Company (TNC) compliance / operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures at the employee, Authority, Contractor and Customer levels.
- Assist with implementing required corrective actions for Luxury Sedan and Taxi Cab and Shuttle contractors, to meet the anticipated objectives established within contracts.
- Execute the entire competitive bid process (Request for Proposals, (RFP) and Request for Quotes (RFQ)) : including research and development of documents, oversight of solicitation process, participates in the evaluation and selection process.
- Track results, prepare reports and presentations for Senior Management and stakeholders.
- Conduct research and benchmarking related to all aspects of Landside Services including but not limited to; airport comparisons, market needs and industry trends.
- Perform other similar and related duties as required or directed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Public Administration, Business, Civil or Construction Engineering or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- 5 or more years of experience that includes managing a large parking operation, compliance with policies and / or procedures, coordinating, communicating and resolving issues with multiple stakeholders, employees, customers and / or tenants and overseeing and managing staff.
- Office Suite Software (Core - Email, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentation) -Proficient
- Accounting / Financial Software Experience with the Airport Authority's integrated financial software program. -Proficient
- Valid Driver's License and a safe, acceptable, driving record
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages People : 1-5 direct employees, 11-49 indirect employees
