Job Summary
We are looking for a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat mental health disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises.
We want to hear from you if you are an experienced therapist passionate about delivering high-quality care and innovative mental health solutions.
This position requires working in the Health Department three days a week.
Responsibilities
- Perform intake assessments
- Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children.
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client
- Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
- Perform regular wellness checks
- Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
- Assist Health Department with clients with mental health needs
Qualifications
- Licensed Staff, Intern, or Masters degree in counseling, social work, or similar field
- Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
