Vice Presidents in the Investment Banking group at Stout will be actively involved with leading day-to-day transaction execution of middle-market mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, ESOP and special situation transactions.
Vice Presidents will play an integral role in all of the firm’s M&A and Capital Markets advisory activities. Vice Presidents will gain invaluable deal process experience through working with senior bankers and acting as a key execution resource to senior bankers in day-to-day client coverage, client prospecting and engagement processes.
Stout is currently seeking a Vice President for our Investment Banking, Professional Services team. The Vice President will work directly with senior members of the Investment Banking, Professional Services team with a focus on tech enabled and IT services.
The role will be responsible for the following :
- Collaborate closely with senior banking professionals on the Professional Services team to drive business growth through client coverage, prospecting, program management, and deal execution
- Support origination, evaluate opportunities, and execute deals across a diverse range of assignments, developing industry specialization in Professional Services
- Establish and nurture credible client relationships within client organizations, primarily driven by deal execution and transaction-related activities.
- Lead all aspects of transaction execution, including team organization, engagement with internal and external stakeholders, and championing product and advisory ideas
- Oversee and mentor junior staff (associates, analysts, and interns), ensuring timely delivery of engagement deliverables and maintaining high-quality work standards.
- Manage highly complex financial modeling, pitch book production, client relationships, and logistical aspects associated with deal execution and client management.
Requirements :
- 10+ years of relative professional experience
- 4 - 8 years of M&A investment banking preferred
- Minimum of 5 years working end-to-end M&A lifecycle
- Prior Business or Professional Services, with an emphasis on tech enabled and IT services experience preferred, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Math, or Economics Required
- MBA Preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, Word, & PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment #LI-CM1
