Summary :

The Doorperson is responsible for exceeding guest’s expectation, and provide high service, by ensuring that the guest receives a pleasant and memorable stay.

They are also responsible for creating an inviting sense of arrival by assist arriving guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally at all times, and assisting departing guests and thank them for staying.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Prepare yourself for your daily shift by ensuring that all information is passed on between the Doormen on duty
  • Ensure best possible two-way communication with fellow associates and managers
  • Perform any reasonable request as directed by management
  • Handle any guest problems or complaints in a professional and hospitable manner. Ensure they are resolved and followed through using the LEARN and Service Excellence process.

Ensure complaints are tracked using the Guest Response program.

  • Understand hotel’s safety trainings
  • Have flexibility in working hours
  • Adhere to high standards of personal hygiene and wear the proper uniform at all times
  • Have detailed and up to date knowledge of all hotel services and functions at all times
  • Greet guests who enter hotel
  • Assist with the luggage of arriving and departing guests
  • On request call taxis either from the rank or from the street. (No prior arrangement with drivers is allowed.
  • Remain at your position on the Front Doors / Front Gate at all times

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience working within a Concierge environment preferred
  • Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
  • Pro-active and reliable
  • Able to work well alone and within a team
  • Good level of English essential
  • Service oriented personality
  • Dependability and courteous manners
