Must-Have : Must have experience as a Clienttion Therapist. ARRT required.

Description :

The Clienttion Therapist applies ionizing radiation to a diverse population of patients in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Clienttion Oncologist.

They must be capable of operating radiation-producing equipment while utilizing radiation safety measures.

The role involves performing a series of complex and precise technical procedures.

Participates in quality control monitoring.

Delivers consistent precise therapy to a designated treatment area.

Demonstrates skill in patient assessment, performing procedures, and providing specialty care to patients of various ages, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Documents appropriately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Demonstrates willingness to perform additional tasks and assists others when necessary.

Recognizes own limitations and seeks assistance when needed.

Reports adverse reactions to the physician immediately and follows established policies and procedures for documentation.

Educates patients and families on expected side effects and the use of treatment aids.

Follows established procedures to ensure precise treatment as per physician prescription.

Completes patient set-ups accurately, simulating new patients or those with new treatment fields according to physicians' written orders in EMR.

Schedules patients appropriately and communicates any changes in a timely manner.

Assesses patient mobility and manages accordingly while reviewing EMR for fall precautions.

Wears radiation safety badges at all times.

Practices universal precautions.

Participates in daily warm-up procedures to ensure equipment output is within tolerances.

Advises management of any discrepancies or needed repairs promptly.

May perform additional tasks as assigned.

Participates in on-call rotation.

Acts as a student clinical instructor for Clienttion Therapy students, providing evaluation and feedback to the students and their clinical advisors.

Performs other duties as assigned.
