Summary :
- This position supports the planning, design, development, and build of supported applications / systems; leads and / or coordinates system testing and documentation of system procedures;
- participates and provides input in training design and development and assists in training execution related to assigned projects;
provides go-live support and serves as the primary point of contact for on-going production maintenance / support and troubleshooting.
Participates in on-call / after-hours support schedule as defined within the team.
Responsibilities :
- Understanding of operational revenue cycle and HIM workflows.
- Knows best practices and how own area integrates with others; demonstrates awareness of the industry, including regulatory, evolving customer demands, and the factors that differentiate the organization in the market
- Acts as a resource and mentor for colleagues with less experience; may lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
- Solves complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
- Ability to interact effectively with peers, management, hospital staff, vendors, and other customers
- Effective organization skills and attention to detail; effective follow-through, and commitment to excellence
- Ability to hear and communicate with others in a clear, understandable, and professional manner. Demonstrated use of good written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work after hours when required
- Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills
- Experience participating in system installation projects including design, build, testing, and support
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Visio, and Project application knowledge
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of related work experience (minimum of 2-4 years experience supporting (analyzing, building, and testing) HIM Applications (Release of Information, Coding, Deficiency Tracking, and Identity) (Required)
- Project management experience (Required)
- Direct experience related to the same or similar systems installed at Children's (Required)
EDUCATION
- Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Required)
- Enterprise App Analysts supporting Epic software must demonstrate competency in Epic software used in their role. All Epic training and testing applicable to the role must be successfully completed and passed within 180 days of employment.
Continuing education requirements must be completed and maintained for applications applicable to the role. (Required)
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Epic Release of Information, Coding, Deficiency Tracking, and Identity certification or proficiency.
