Position Summary :
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing team. As a CNA, you will provide essential care and support to clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in the client’s condition to the supervising nurse
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with mobility, including transferring, repositioning, and range-of-motion exercises
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe living environment
- Follow care plans as directed by supervisors and ensure documentation is accurate and timely
Qualifications :
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or equivalent certifications in the state of Virginia
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Prior experience in home care or a related field (preferred)
- Ability to lift and transfer clients as needed
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
