Responsibilities :

Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced Operating Room environment.

Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile protocols.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless surgical care.

Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies promptly.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and surgical procedures.

Participate in on-call rotations as required, demonstrating flexibility and availability.

Support the facility during a variety of orthopedic surgeries, utilizing specialized skills and knowledge.

Certifications and Licenses :

Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License — Required

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification — Required

NIHSS Certification — Required at time of submission

Orthopedic Surgical Experience — Must have

Travel experience — Preferred

Qualifications :

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR RN, preferably in orthopedic surgery.

Must have a minimum of 6 CEUs related to Stroke prior to start date.

Strong understanding of perioperative protocols, patient safety, and sterile procedures.

Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
