About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Valid State Nursing License required (pending licenses accepted)

Certifications : BLS, ACLS required

Must-Have : Epic experience, Level 1 Trauma experience strongly preferred

Description :

The Registered Nurse will float to various ICU and intermediate care units, including medical, thoracic cardiovascular, coronary care, surgical trauma, neuro, and neurosurgery ICUs.

The nurse will also provide care in critical care and intermediate care units, including special pathogens units.

A minimum of 36 hours per week with the possibility of 48 hours is offered.

Nurses must work every other weekend and 2 out of the 3 winter holidays.

BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Experience with Level 1 trauma is strongly preferred.

Candidates must adhere to the float policy of the facility.

Epic experience is required.

Nurses will care for ventilated patients and monitor continuous IV sedation.

They will be expected to interpret dysrhythmias and manage dysrhythmias.

Procedural sedation administration and monitoring, as well as pulmonary artery line monitoring, are required skills.

Candidates will be asked to float within their scope of practice.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is expected to be manageable, with 1.5 patients per nurse during the day and 2 patients per nurse at night.

Professional certifications must be submitted with applications.

Nurses should possess strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

This position requires a commitment to high standards of patient care and safety.
