Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research and provide strategic analysis to support litigation.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and related legal documents with precision and clarity.
- Represent clients during depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
- Manage a diverse caseload and ensure timely progression of cases.
- Collaborate with partners on high-stakes litigation and provide strategic input.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other key parties.
- Participate in case strategy sessions, offering insights and solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in handling insurance coverage litigation.
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial general liability, pollution liability, marine, directors and officers, professional liability, and errors and omissions insurance matters.
- Experience reviewing and analyzing complex insurance policies, drafting coverage evaluations, and reservation of rights letters.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and actionable advice.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with a strong academic background.
Certifications
Active bar admission in California.
