ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year in New Orleans, LA.

Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide direct counseling services to students, addressing a variety of emotional and social issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for improving students' academic performance and well-being.
- Conduct and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations.
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in school psychology.
Qualifications :
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid state School Psychologist license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
