Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities? If so, North Star Community Services would like to talk with you. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Day Habilitation Supervisor to join our dynamic team.

P osition Overview :

As a Day Habilitation Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and support within our disability services program. You will oversee the daily operations of our day habilitation team ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and maximize their independence.

As Day Habilitation Supervisor you will have the opportunity to develop and grow your career and be challenged providing your skills and experience as you assist your team and clients through :

Supervision and Leadership : Provide guidance, direction, and supervision to a team of direct support professionals.

Program Management : Oversee the implementation of individualized service plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Quality Assurance : Monitor service delivery to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and alignment with best practices.

Staff Development : Conduct training, performance evaluations, and ongoing support to enhance staff competencies and professional growth.

Client Advocacy : Advocate for the needs and rights of individuals with disabilities, promoting a person-centered approach to care.

Qualifications :

  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience in disability services or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge of person-centered planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (not required) in Human Services or related field.
