The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, implements ordelegates, plans, and evaluates total nursing care and functions inaccordance with established philosophy, providing and directingpatient care for a group of patients.
The Registered Nurse (RN)relates effectively with other shifts / departments for optimalcontinuity of care. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinicalsupervision for entry level nurses and assists in theirdevelopment.
CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital -Medical Center (CSRH-MC), located in the South Texas MedicalCenter, provides a high-level of care through compassionate hands,experience physicians, and advanced technology, including the daVinci Surgical Robot System and the Mako™ Robotic-Arm AssistedSystem.
Services at the 178- bed facility include Acute Care of theElderly Unit, cardiology, diabetes care, emergency care, generalsurgery, kidney transplantation at the CHRISTUS TransplantInstitute, orthopedics, outpatient rehabilitation and aquatictherapy, Senior Behavioral Health Center, urology, and the WoundCare and Hyperbaric Center.
Requirements :
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing,preferred.
- 1 year of experience in the relatednursing specialty preferred.
- BLSrequired
- RN License in state of employment orcompact
