License : Must have a current, valid RN license in good standing with the Board of Nursing
Certifications :
- Current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current, valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Completion of telemetry course or demonstrated competency
Must-Have :
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Job Description :
- Provide and coordinate patient care through assessment, evaluation, and treatment with the primary goal of achieving wellness and recovery.
- Implement patient needs, education, and care plans based on the patient's condition and diagnosis.
- Educate patients according to their needs.
- Transcribe, utilize, and implement protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, including case management, social work, dietary, cardiopulmonary, physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
- Continuously monitor patients, including the assessment and monitoring of telemetry data.
- Recognize acute changes and deterioration of patients, implementing appropriate treatments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Familiarity with IV drips (antibiotic, heparin, etc.).
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills with a friendly personality, tact, patience, empathy, and a professional attitude.
- Communicate effectively with staff, managers, and the general public verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate effective listening skills.
- Show excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to establish priorities effectively.
- Possess exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Work effectively without immediate supervision.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn new computer software programs.
- Recognize and protect confidential information.

- Complete annual continuing education units (CEUs) as required.
