Role Overview :
- Manage the preparation of accurate dynamic analyses and calculations submitted in a timely manner as agreed with relevant project, tender and other enquiries.
- Create new designs / tools / structures.
- Support engineering & operations team.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure all support is delivered on time, at optimum cost and to a level appropriate for the task in hand.
- Investigate to ensure that all engineering meets the requirements of all appropriate codes, regulations and standards
- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of structures, tools, and installation aids.
- Utilize analysis software to develop models and provide hand calculations when required.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and address technical challenges, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure operational safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Generate detailed reports, technical documentation, and presentations to communicate analysis findings and recommendations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to analysis engineering.
- Actively participate in the development and implementation of new methodologies and technologies to enhance operational performance.
Requirements :
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree within relevant engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Ocean)
- Master : Minimum 3 years relevant in industry related role
- Bachelor : Minimum 5 years relevant in industry related role
- Proficiency in utilizing analytical software (e.g., ANSYS, RISA, Staad Pro), modeling tools, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience with subsea structures, modules, flexibles, risers and / or umbilicals
- Experience with ROV and subsea operations
- Experience within dynamic analysis
- Familiar with Orcaflex, MathCad, and relevant support software used for programming / scripts (e.g. Python or equivalent)
