Drive B2B content strategy and thought leadership to fuel demand and elevate Zip’s presence through premium publisher partnerships.

Join a fast-moving, merchant-focused team where storytelling meets performance and content directly impacts growth. Remote-first opportunity for US-based employees with the option to work in-person out of our Manhattan office.

Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Leadership

Build an editorial calendar and roadmap that cover thought leadership, analyst research, product content and campaign assets aligned with business priorities

Develop and maintain a merchant-centric content strategy that supports demand generation, buyer enablement and sales acceleration

Lead content team operations, including production, review and publishing processes

Foster a data-driven culture by tracking content performance and pipeline influence to optimize the roadmap

Premium Content & Thought Leadership

Manage sponsored content and publisher partnerships (e.g., Forbes, Industry Dive, Business Insider) to deliver high-impact thought-leadership pieces and nurture merchant awareness

Commission and oversee analyst research initiatives that establish market authority and generate derivative content assets

Lead multi-format content development—explainer videos, webinars, interactive assessments, case studies and demos—that resonates across buying committees

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with Performance Marketing, Product, Sales and Events teams to develop content that supports buyer enablement and business objectives

Mentor and manage content creators (writers, designers, video producers) and external agencies / AI vendors, establishing clear quality and performance standards

What You Bring to the Team

8+ years in B2B content marketing with 2+ years leading content strategy and production

Proven track record building content strategies that drive measurable demand generation results

Experience commissioning major thought leadership pieces with top-tier publishers & analyst firms

Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple complex initiatives

Knowledge of marketing automation, CRM, and content management systems

Strategic thinking with ability to connect market trends to content opportunities

Comfortable in fast-paced, growth-stage environment with evolving priorities

Strong people management skills with ability to mentor teams and coordinate cross-functional initiatives

Background in fintech, payments, or BNPL (preferred but not required)

Zip is committed to a straightforward and transparent pay structure. The actual base salary will be determined by various individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, location, internal equity, as well as other objective business considerations.

Compensation For this position, the annual base pay range is $144,000 - $150,000. This range reflects our US national compensation band (USN). Additional premium percentages may apply based on our tiered premium strategy. The total compensation package may include a bonus and / or commission, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits. If hired, employees will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary and other compensation or benefit programs at any time, including for reasons related to performance, department priorities, and market factors.
