Job Title : Spray Dry Operator

Job Description

The Spray Dry Operator is responsible for manufacturing flavors for different products. This role involves following processes according to formulations on each batch ticket, operating machinery such as mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks, and ensuring the correct finished product quantity with accurate labeling.

Attention to detail, the ability to read labels on raw materials, and adherence to safety procedures are crucial for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture flavors according to batch ticket formulations
• Operate machinery including mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks
• Ensure correct finished product quantity and accurate labeling
• Follow safety procedures and maintain attention to detail
• Collaborate with team members and maintain a clean work environment

• Machine operation experience
• Production experience
• Batch mixing experience
• Compounding experience

• Ability to adhere to GMP standards

Work Environment

This role operates within a food GMP environment, which includes a strong smell due to the nature of the flavors company.

Employees must wear steel toe shoes, a hair net, and no jewelry. A uniform and locker will be provided for personal belongings.

Work shifts include 2nd Shift from 1pm to 11 : 30pm, Monday to Thursday, and Weekend Overnights from 6pm to 6 : 30am, Friday to Sunday nights.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wauconda, Illinois.
